Migrating to the cloud is still viewed with some trepidation. While its benefits are touted by many, there still remains a question mark hovering around its adoption. No one wants to lose out on business because of disruptions, but there is a distinct hesitation about entrusting mission critical applications to the cloud.
In light of this, 3CLogic has come up with a Business Continuity Package for call centers that allows them to 'have their cake and eat it too.'
When everything is hunky dory, businesses can continue to use their existing infrastructure and bask in the assurance that whenever there is an emergency, 3Clogic's cloud-based contact center platform will ensure that contact center services will not be disrupted.
3CLogic's Business Continuity Package leverages VoIP, Virtual Telephony application Grid (V-TAG) and virtualization, and as the offering claims to be vendor agnostic, it can be used with existing infrastructure.
All employees need is a browser and access to the Internet, for virtualization of contact centers enable employees to access all applications anywhere, anytime, which proves especially useful during emergencies when employees work from home.
Both, V-TAG and VoIP deliver flexibility in contact center operations and contact center infrastructure can be easily deployed either in the company’s IT environment or hosted by 3CLogic. Agents can dynamically make the switch over from office to home with absolutely no hassle.
Thus, 3Clogic appears to provide a watertight case for its Business Continuity Package, which it added is also available for a small annual fee.
Emergencies and natural disaster have an uncanny knack of breaking in unannounced, and it will be sound business logic to be armed. As business continuity is very important and millions of dollars could be lost because of disruptions, 3Clogic does seem to have a useful proposition.
3CLogic, a cloud-based service provider, also recently revealed that it has developed new tools to help companies monitor at home agents allowing for companies to peak in on them in real time by providing all of the core essentials to monitor and measure call center representatives’ performance and efficiency.
