Pastel Software Zimbabwe is set to launch a cloud-based accounting program in Zimbabwe next month.
Designed for start-up and small businesses, this Web-based business software solution will enable users to do their accounts online from anywhere in the world.
Known as Sage Pastel My Business Online, this program can be accessed from anywhere by many devices including an iPad, smartphone and iPhone.
This solution is already successful in South Africa and Cyprus and will now enable business in Zimbabwe to keep their accounts up-to-date.
“Your accounts are kept ‘in the cloud’, that is on a website, in the same way as information is kept on Facebook and other similar sites,” said Pastel Software Zimbabwe managing director Rob Watson. “That means they are always accessible to you, as long as you have an internet connection. The data is secure, possibly more secure than being kept on the office computer.”
Pastel Software will officially launch My Business Online on March 11, but is encouraging businesses to try the program for free at www.sagemybusiness.co.zw.
Businesses can use this solution to accomplish several tasks such as managing customer invoices, receipts, supplier invoices, returns and payments.
In addition, they can quickly manage items purchased, sold and returned, send customer statements and view reports.
Users don’t have to install Sage Pastel My Business Online and all users have to do is log on to the solution and begin working. A dashboard featured in the solution will give users a bird’s eye view of the business, and this means they will quickly get an overview of how the business is doing.
Pastel Evolution Version 6.80PASTEL software was launched in Zimbabwe last year.
