Genesys will be taking over Angel.com Incorporated, an ancillary of MicroStrategy Incorporated. A contract to this effect has been signed by the two organizations, Genesys and MicroStrategy.
Angel is a major provider of cloud-based self-service contact center offerings. Enterprises can now implement self-service interactive voice response, or IVR, SMS, chat, and mobile applications using the Angel platform in a rapid manner, thereby addressing the self-service requirements of their customers. An on-demand, Software-as-a-Service platform has been used to develop the company’s solutions, eliminating the necessity for any investment in terms of hardware, software or human assets.
Angel offers pre-packaged applications for select industries, like banking, healthcare, retail, pharmaceutical, media, travel, technology, higher education, and government. The exhaustive assortment of applications from Angel comprises of embedded drillable business intelligence dashboards for enhanced instantaneous decision-making. These applications will help organizations to gather survey responses, monitor support tickets and inform customers regarding order statuses and refills. Angel boasts a minimum of 800 business accounts, which include some of the well-known brands across the globe and several mid-market customers.

Self-service contact center solutions, which offer a point-and-click, graphical configuration interface, are developed by Angel especially for the business user. The financials of the self-service contact center market have been altered with Angel’s utilization of the cloud.
Genesys self-service portfolio available for both enterprise and mid-market customers will now include Angel offerings. The yearly recurring cloud-based revenue for Genesys is now forecasted to cross $85 million with the acquisition of Angel.
